Mary Trump Slams Donald as 'Despicable' Parent Over Barron's Link to Andrew Tate
Mary Trump Attacks Donald Over Barron's Andrew Tate Ties

In a scathing new attack, Mary Trump, the niece of former US President Donald Trump, has publicly denounced her uncle as a "disgraceful" and "despicable" parent. Her outburst comes in response to media reports suggesting that Donald Trump's youngest son, Barron Trump, is an admirer of and has interacted with the controversial online personality Andrew Tate, who is embroiled in multiple criminal cases.

Mary Trump's Explosive Allegations on YouTube

Mary Trump, who is the daughter of Donald Trump's late older brother Fred Trump, launched her verbal assault in a recent YouTube video. She was reacting to news stories that connected the 19-year-old Barron Trump to Andrew Tate, a self-proclaimed misogynist currently facing serious legal troubles in Romania.

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate, both dual US-British citizens, were arrested in Romania in late 2022. They were formally indicted in 2023. Romanian prosecutors accuse the brothers of being part of a criminal network that allegedly lured women to the country for sexual exploitation. Andrew Tate also faces a separate rape charge. Both brothers have consistently denied all allegations against them.

Claims of Political Influence in Tate's Travel

The case took an intriguing turn earlier this year. The Tate brothers, previously under a travel ban in Romania, flew to Florida in February 2024 after the restriction was unexpectedly lifted. When journalists asked Donald Trump if the White House had any role in this development, he stated, "I know nothing about that."

Mary Trump strongly contradicted this claim. In her video, she accused her uncle of facilitating Andrew Tate's return to the United States. "Andrew Tate spent years quoting high-profile conservatives and some of Donald's top advisers," she said. "He made it very, very clear that he was a huge supporter of Donald Trump's. And with his massive social media following, that's all you need for Donald Trump to do whatever he can to make sure, regardless of the horrific crimes you've committed, you get to be free," she alleged.

Barron Trump's Reported Admiration for Tate

Central to Mary Trump's criticism are the reports about Barron Trump's alleged fondness for the influencer. She described the former president's son as a "huge fan" of Tate.

"Imagine what kind of oh gosh, what's the word? Disgraceful, despicable parent you would need to be in order to think it's okay for your son to listen to and admire a monster like Andrew Tate," Mary Trump remarked.

These claims follow a report by The New York Times last month. The publication cited Justin Waller, an influencer and a mutual friend of the Tate brothers, who stated that Barron Trump admired Andrew Tate and had even spoken with him over a Zoom call. According to Waller, their conversation included discussions about their shared belief that the Romanian criminal case was a deliberate attempt to silence the Tate brothers. A lawyer for the Tate brothers has reportedly dismissed The New York Times report as "fake news."

This is not the first instance where Andrew Tate has claimed proximity to the Trump family. He has told reporters in the past that he is "very close with the Trump family." Furthermore, after the assassination attempt on Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July 2024, Tate claimed he communicated with Barron Trump. "I’m very close with the Trump family. I know them well. I spoke to Barron after the incident [In Butler]. I look forward to once I'm free being with Donald Trump in person and reminding him that he’s a bulletproof bad--," Tate said at the time.

Wider Legal Troubles for Andrew Tate

Beyond the Romanian charges, Andrew Tate's legal woes extend to other jurisdictions. He has been accused of sexual violence in a civil case in the United Kingdom. In the United States, both he and his brother have been under investigation by Homeland Security's anti-trafficking agents and federal prosecutors since 2023, as per The New York Times.

As of now, Donald Trump has not publicly responded to his niece Mary Trump's sharp comments or to the media reports linking his son Barron to the controversial influencer Andrew Tate. The silence from the former president's camp adds another layer to this developing family and political drama.
