Misfits vs Fame: Carla Jade Claims Superiority Before Crossover

The rivalry between Misfits Boxing and Fame Fighting has intensified significantly ahead of this weekend's major crossover event in Leverkusen, Germany. The two influencer boxing promotions will finally meet on the same card on Saturday night, with fans already dubbing it the 'Super Bowl of influencer boxing.' The event will feature several creators and fighters from both sides, while Aleks Petrovic and Chase DeMoor are set to headline the card in the main event.

Trash Talk Escalates

As fight night approaches, the trash talk between both teams has continued to grow. This time, Misfits women's lightweight champion Carla Jade stepped into the spotlight and openly claimed that Misfits Boxing is simply better than Fame Fighting. Speaking on SunSport's Corner Talk, Jade praised her promotion's boxing skills, fighter quality, and promotional work while also warning her teammates not to disappoint during one of the biggest influencer boxing events of the year.

Carla Jade's Bold Claims

Carla Jade especially pointed toward fellow Misfits fighter Fes Batista while discussing the difference between the two promotions. She admitted Batista's opponent may look physically stronger, but still believes skill will make the difference inside the ring. 'We have the skills,' she said. 'Especially with Fes Batista. Fes's guy, you know, he looks big and he looks strong. But Fes has got the boxing. And I think that's our advantage over Fame.'

Jade did not stop there. She also praised how Misfits Boxing handles promotion and branding compared to its rival. 'And we do everything better. We do the promo better, you know, we are the creme de la creme,' she added.

Warning to Teammates

The Misfits champion also warned her teammates that they cannot afford disappointing performances during such a major event. Even though she sounded confident about most of the matchups, she admitted there were a few fighters she was unsure about. 'There's a couple of them I don't know. So you better not let us down, guys,' Jade said.

Still, she expects Misfits to dominate the card overall. She also joked that team captain Chase DeMoor would likely motivate everyone backstage before the fights begin. 'I think the majority of the fights we're going to win them all. Especially if Chase is the captain, you know, I'm sure he'll be giving them a little locker room pep talk,' she added.

According to SunSport, the event will stream live this weekend and is expected to become one of the biggest nights influencer boxing has seen so far.
