Pravin Adithya on post-accident transformation & new film

Television actor Pravin Adithya, widely recognized for his role in the popular TV serial 'Sakthivel: Theeyaai Oru Theeraa Kaadhal', has recently opened up about a profound personal and professional transformation. The actor emphasizes that his journey is far more about a mental shift than just achieving a chiseled physique.

The Catalyst: A Life-Altering Accident

Pravin Adithya's path to change was triggered by a serious accident he met with two years ago. The incident left his legs injured, requiring surgery. "My legs got injured and were operated on. I did Sakthivel after recuperating," the actor shared, highlighting his resilience. Overcoming this major physical hurdle became a turning point, shifting his focus inward towards comprehensive self-improvement.

A Holistic Approach to Self-Development

Moving beyond physical recovery, Pravin embarked on a mission to better himself mentally and intellectually. "My idea was not to have a six pack. Rather, it’s about the mental transformation," he stated clearly. His routine evolved to include reading personality development books, attending film festivals, and travelling more extensively. He adopted a disciplined daily schedule that brought clarity on areas needing improvement.

A crucial component of this new lifestyle is a clean diet. Pravin Adithya now follows a nutritious regimen that includes fruits, boiled vegetables, and chicken. He is also meticulous about hydration, drinking four litres of water every day to maintain his well-being.

Embracing a New On-Screen Avatar

Professionally, Pravin is stepping into an exciting new phase. He will next be seen playing the antagonist in an untitled film starring Santhosh Prathap. Describing his role, he said, "I play an important role with diverse shades." This opportunity marks a significant shift from his television persona.

The actor also revealed a thoughtful approach towards selecting projects. "I’m not committing to any projects in a hurry," he explained. For him, the quality of performance outweighs screen time. "Even if I get to perform well in one scene, that’s enough for me. A good performer doesn’t need to be on screen throughout; just one scene or shot is needed to shine," Pravin Adithya concluded, showcasing his evolved perspective on acting and career.
