PVR Inox Denies Legal Action Against Vashu Bhagnani

Amid a growing legal storm surrounding veteran Bollywood producer Vashu Bhagnani, a recent media report suggested that multiplex giant PVR Inox was planning to sue his production house, Puja Films. However, the company has firmly denied these claims, issuing an official statement calling the story "misleading and speculative." In a surprising turn, PVR Inox took the opportunity to publicly commend Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu's son, for his professional handling of business matters.

PVR Inox Denies Plans to Sue Vashu Bhagnani's Puja Films

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, PVR Inox was preparing legal action against Puja Films over pending dues linked to a reported Rs 100 crore three-film deal between the two companies. The claim emerged as news broke that Vashu Bhagnani had filed a separate Rs 400 crore lawsuit in the Bombay High Court against Tips Industries, comprising Ramesh Taurani and Kumar Taurani, along with director David Dhawan, concerning the film 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai'.

Taking to Instagram, PVR Inox issued a detailed rebuttal. The statement read: "We have noted a recent media report concerning PVRINOX Pictures and Mr Vashu Bhagnani. The contents of the story are misleading and speculative in nature and do not accurately reflect the facts or the nature of the relationship between the parties. PVRINOX Pictures and the Bhagnani family share a longstanding and cordial professional relationship built over years of collaboration and mutual respect." The company added, "We do not believe it is appropriate to discuss the details of any commercial arrangements in the public domain."
