The Pokémon YouTube community was thrown into chaos this week after creator RaidAway publicly accused longtime collaborator GameboyLuke of having an affair with his former girlfriend, Taylor. What started as a personal fallout quickly turned into one of the most talked-about controversies in the creator space, especially given the pair's long friendship and years of collaboration on Pokémon content.
Allegations Surface on Social Media
The allegations surfaced on May 21 when RaidAway posted a series of emotional messages on X, revealing he had only recently learned about the alleged relationship months after his breakup. Fans immediately began revisiting old videos, social media interactions, and New Year's posts involving the creators, fueling widespread discussion across YouTube and streaming communities.
RaidAway's Initial Revelation
RaidAway first revealed the situation in a deeply personal post where he explained how the information reached him months later. He wrote: "Was just told that Taylor cheated on me with Luke on New Years. We've been broken up since January and I just found out from someone else. 5 months later. Just going to take some time and think. Actually unreal." Soon after, he clarified exactly who he was referring to: "Just want to clarify, I'm talking about GameboyLuke."
The accusations stunned many fans because the two creators had worked closely together for years. Their online history stretches back to at least 2019, and both became recognizable names in Pokémon content through collaborations and challenge videos. One of the biggest talking points online involved an older post from late December 2025, where GameboyLuke appeared excited about visiting RaidAway for New Year's celebrations: "damn ur house looks sick!!! cant wait for new years!! @RaidAway." That message quickly gained attention after fans connected it to the alleged timeline mentioned in RaidAway's posts.
RaidAway Says GameboyLuke 'Toyed' with Him During Breakup
As reactions poured in online, RaidAway continued sharing more details about how deeply the situation affected him emotionally. In another post, he thanked fans for supporting him while accusing both Taylor and GameboyLuke of betraying his trust: "Thank you guys so much for all the support on the situation. I really feel the love. As time goes on I'm finding out more information. Luke and Taylor went behind my back way more as well, apart from just the cheating. GameboyLuke and Taylor are the 2 worst human beings I've ever met in my life. Have a great day!"
He later claimed the two had continued flirting while he struggled privately after the breakup: "For example: While I was healing the past 5 months, destroyed, empty, crying.. Luke and Taylor have been flirting behind my back. Taylor would intentionally post thins on IG to get Luke to respond. This isn't event scratching the surface." RaidAway ended by accusing GameboyLuke of pretending to support him while allegedly hiding the relationship: "Just want to point out nothing about this is 'wrong'. I'm not with Taylor anymore. The thing that's evil is Luke toying in my face about being a good friend and being there for me WHILE doing this."
