Rakesh Roshan turned to Instagram, posting a series of pictures with Pinkie. Alongside the photos, he wrote, "We fought our way through 55 years of marriage, and we're still standing stronger than the Eiffel tower. Happy anniversary to us." The post quickly garnered attention, with fans and friends flooding the comment section with congratulatory messages. Actor Anupam Kher wrote, "Happy Anniversary to both of you. Love and prayers always." Their daughter Sunaina added a touching comment: "My heartbeats."
A Journey Through the Years
The couple tied the knot in 1971. Pinkie Roshan is the daughter of filmmaker J. Om Prakash. Together, they have two children: Sunaina Roshan and actor Hrithik Roshan. Rakesh Roshan began his career as an actor, appearing in numerous films during the 1970s and 1980s, before transitioning into direction. He became one of Hindi cinema's most successful filmmakers, with iconic directorial works such as Khudgarz, Khoon Bhari Maang, Kishen Kanhaiya, Karan Arjun, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, Koi... Mil Gaya, and the Krrish franchise.
Upcoming Projects in the Roshan Family
The Roshan family continues to remain active with new ventures. Hrithik Roshan is all set to make his directorial debut with Krrish 4. The superhero film is being backed by Yash Raj Films in association with Rakesh Roshan. Hrithik will not only direct but also star in the film. Additionally, Hrithik is venturing into the OTT space as a producer with Storm, a thriller set in Mumbai. The project is being developed for Prime Video, and its first look was unveiled at the Prime Video 2026 Release Slate event held recently in Mumbai.
