Telugu actor Satya Dev is preparing for the release of his upcoming psychological period drama, ‘Rao Bahadur,’ which incorporates horror elements. Directed by Venkatesh Maha, the team recently unveiled the teaser, showcasing the actor in a unique avatar. The actor shared his confidence about the project, stating, “a crazy film has come from Telugu cinema.”
Satya Dev Thanks Puri Jagannadh
According to a report by Cinema Express, during the teaser launch event, Satya Dev first expressed his gratitude to director Puri Jagannadh, who introduced him as a lead actor with Jyothi Lakshmi in 2015. “I will always be grateful to Puri garu. I am very happy to launch the teaser of my film 'Rao Bahadur' today,” said Satya Dev. The actor also spoke about how Telugu audiences have always encouraged good and unique films. He believes ‘Rao Bahadur’ will receive the same love from audiences across different regions.
A Film That Will Make Telugu Cinema Proud
Satya Dev also spoke about the film, saying it would be a project that Telugu cinema can proudly celebrate. “This film will be something where we can proudly say that a crazy film has come from Telugu cinema. Whenever we go abroad, we proudly talk about films like Baahubali and RRR. In the same way, people will talk about Rao Bahadur too. This is my promise,” said the actor. He added that the entire team worked hard to make a film that every Telugu viewer can feel proud of.

The actor had special praise for director Venkatesh Maha and his dedication to the film. “Director Venkatesh Maha has worked on this film by putting his heart and soul into it. Anurag, Sarath, and everyone who worked on this film have immense passion for cinema. We are crazy about cinema, and I feel very proud to be part of such a team,” he said.
‘Rao Bahadur’ features Deepa Thomas as the female lead opposite Satya Dev, while Smaran Sai composed the music. It is set to be released on July 3.
