Taking to Instagram, the 46-year-old shared details about the attack near his Hollywood Hills home on Tuesday. Avery said the contractor was building a new deck. "My crazy neighbour shot out the tires of the contractor building a new deck at the house. As this is going on, there's a standoff at the house. He's inside. He's got guns," he said. Further explaining how the neighbor even tried to frame him and malign his reputation, Avery added: "He calls two hookers and tries to frame me. He sends two hookers up to the house for me, I'm not even there, as a smokescreen."

Police Response and Arrest

Meanwhile, TMZ reported that the Los Angeles Police Department received a 911 call from Avery's home around 10 a.m. on Tuesday. The website reported that the neighbor was harassing and threatening the contractors working on the renovations. But when the cops went there to check, it was all peaceful and safe. Later, they were called back around 5 p.m., when shots were fired.

Following the incident, the cops subsequently arrested the suspect, believed to be Avery's neighbor. However, no injuries were reported, and the investigation remains ongoing.
