Singer Shaan marked his son Maahi's 21st birthday with a heartfelt social media post and a fun day out at a theme park, sharing glimpses of the father-son duo spending quality time together.

Posting a video from the outing, Shaan wrote, 'Hanging out with my boy .. on his 21st Birthday!! Don't know when he grew up ?.. became a friend from a son ? But one thing I know .. at 21.. he is much much more focused, Confident and Charming than I ever was … So proud of my @maahiforyou Bless Him on his special day.'
Praise for Maahi's Singing Talent
Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Shaan opened up about Maahi's growth as a singer and the qualities he admires in him. 'As a singer Maahi has a very unique voice, a very strong voice. His voice has a good projection and great expressions. I also think that his sense of pitching is pretty much perfect. He does not go flat at all,' Shaan shared.
At the same time, Shaan offered an honest assessment of the kind of artiste Maahi is becoming. 'Of course when it comes to the more intricate kind of singing, he is not that kind of a singer. His expressions are good and he is a straight note singer,' he explained.
Advice for Young Musicians
Asked about the advice he gives his son as a young musician, Shaan stressed the importance of self-belief. 'The only advice I can give him is to always believe in yourself. Believe in your voice. I want to advise him to always believe in what is your USP and at the same time train to get even better,' he said.
Maahi, who has been building his presence as a singer-songwriter, has released independent music including his EP Talab and recently made his Bollywood playback debut with Nadaaniyan.
