Shah Rukh Khan acquires full ownership of his Delhi residence

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan has become the sole owner of his former Delhi home after purchasing the remaining two floors for approximately Rs 37 crore, according to a Moneycontrol report. The actor already owned the basement and ground floor of the Panchsheel Park property in South Delhi, and has now acquired the second and third floors, completing his ownership of the entire building.

Property details and sentimental value

The property sits on a 1,200-square-yard (roughly 10,800-square-foot) plot, with land in the area valued at around Rs 34,260 per square foot. The house holds deep sentimental significance for Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri Khan. After their marriage in 1991, which included a civil registration, a Hindu ceremony, and a Nikah, the couple began their married life in this Delhi home before Shah Rukh moved to Mumbai to pursue his acting career. The family now resides at Mannat, their iconic bungalow in Mumbai's Bandra.

Gauri's vision for the home

Gauri, who was born and raised in Delhi, has previously spoken about her desire to preserve the house as a repository of the family's memories. She has described a dedicated 'nostalgia wall' featuring keepsakes from each family member, including their children Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam, alongside artwork and antiques collected by the couple over the years.
