Celebrity gossip columnist Rob Shuter shared a source's comment: “This doesn’t sound like Taylor -- it sounds like something the Kardashians would do. Taylor has always used her personal life in work -- the songs, the Easter eggs, the social media posts -- that’s part of her brand. But that’s very different from getting married at one of the most famous venues in the world. Most people I know think it’s a decoy -- the theory is guests will be told to meet at MSG, then they’re put on buses and taken somewhere else.”
Second Speculation: July 3
According to Page Six, the rumored wedding date for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift is July 3. Coincidentally, Madison Square Garden will not host any events during the week leading up to July 3, from June 29 to July 6.
Third Speculation: Mark Seed
Deuxmoi, the pop culture curators, reported that wedding designer Mark Seed will allegedly transform Madison Square Garden for the big day of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Deuxmoi had previously floated the idea of Rishi Patel, but that turned out to be incorrect.
Mark Seed has previously designed Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley’s wedding, as well as Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney’s wedding. Even if Swift is allegedly hiring Jack Antonoff’s wedding planner, it’s worth noting that she hilariously roasted him during his own wedding toast.
As per Page Six, Taylor Swift made a 15-minute-long speech at Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley’s wedding on Long Beach Island. She lovingly roasted the couple during her lengthy toast. She said she never forgets to express gratitude to her frequent musical collaborator, but he never mentions her in any of his speeches.
Antonoff has won 13 Grammys, while Swift has won 14. The two have collaborated on over 80 songs since 2013.

The couple tied the knot at Beach Haven on Long Beach Island in New Jersey, a nod to the groom’s New Jersey upbringing, in August 2023. Celebrity guests included Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, Zoë Kravitz, Channing Tatum, Cara Delevingne, Mae Whitman, Sarah Ramos, and more. Guests arrived the night before the wedding for a rehearsal dinner at the Black Whale Bar & Fish Bar in New Jersey, a corner bar overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
After a fan spotted Taylor Swift at the wedding, several people in the neighborhood arrived at the restaurant, and police had to be called. As per The Knot, wedding guests were spotted looking at the crowds from the restaurant’s rooftop. The wedding took place at the nautical-themed Parker’s Garage & Oyster Saloon, located right on the waterfront.
Qualley wore an ivory silk halter-neck A-line gown with white Mary Jane flats. For the after party, she switched to a white midi dress with a square neckline and oversized puff sleeves. Antonoff looked dashing in a classic black suit.
