Sweeney Begins Filming 'Gundam'
While their destination remains unknown, the sighting comes as Sweeney begins work on her next major project. The actress was spotted filming Gundam in Queensland. Directed by Jim Mickle, the film is based on the popular Japanese anime franchise Mobile Suit Gundam. Sweeney stars opposite Noah Centineo in a story set amid a lengthy space war.
According to Netflix, the live-action adventure film will bring the defining mech franchise to life with an original story. It follows rival mech pilots fighting on opposite sides of a decades-long war between Earth and its space-faring colonies.
Public Romance
Sydney and Scooter have been generating buzz since going public. They shared PDA-filled photos from various events, including Stagecoach Festival and a karaoke session, before making their relationship Instagram-official this week.
While in Australia, Sweeney has been photographed engaging in tourist activities, including visiting iconic bridges and interacting with wildlife. Braun, however, was not seen accompanying her on those outings.
