Tessa Thompson and Adrien Brody Debut on Broadway

Actresses Tessa Thompson, known for her role in 'Men in Black,' and Adrien Brody, star of 'The Brutalist,' recently made their Broadway debut in the play 'The Fear of 13' at the James Earl Jones Theatre in New York City. During their debut, Thompson spoke warmly about her experience working with Brody on stage, expressing nothing but admiration for her co-star.

Tessa Thompson Praises Adrien Brody

In an interview with PEOPLE, Thompson gushed about Brody, saying, 'It's great. I adore him. He's wonderful in this play. He's a tremendous actor; he's deeply kind.' She added that working with him felt like she had known him for a long time, despite the relatively short rehearsal period. 'I feel like I've known him—maybe it's just you rehearse so much, and you get so close—but it feels like I've known him for ages at this point. But it feels like it's kind of only the beginning for us, which I'm grateful for,' she shared.

The play's writer, Lindsey Ferrentino, also praised Brody, noting that she 'can't say enough good things about what it is like to work with [Brody] and write for him.' Ferrentino, best known for works like 'The Queen of Versailles,' 'This Flat Earth,' and 'Ugly Lies the Bone,' had specifically pushed for Brody to be part of the production.

The production has been praised for its powerful storytelling and the compelling performances of its leads.

The play opened earlier this month and has been receiving positive reviews for its emotional depth and the chemistry between Thompson and Brody. Fans of both actors are eager to see more of their work together on stage.
