MUMBAI: The sudden demise of actress Twisha Sharma has left her co-star Swetaa Varma in a state of profound shock and grief. Reacting to the tragic incident, Swetaa expressed disbelief that the vibrant actor was no more, especially just months after her marriage.

Twisha Sharma, aged 33, was discovered dead on May 12 at the Bhopal residence of her husband, lawyer Samarth Singh, located in the Katara Hills area, as reported by news agency PTI. The news sent ripples of sorrow through the film fraternity.

Swetaa, who shared screen space with Twisha in the 2021 Telugu film Mugguru Monagallu, fondly remembered her as a cheerful and warm individual. Taking to Instagram, she wrote, "Still in shock hearing that she is no more, especially just 6 months after getting married. I had the opportunity to work with her in the movie Mugguru Monagallu."
"Though our interaction was brief, we shared some fun conversations and a lot of laughter. She carried such positive energy and never seemed like someone who would take such a step," Swetaa added, her words reflecting the disbelief shared by many.
She further emphasized the need for justice, stating, "I truly hope the investigation is conducted properly, the truth comes out, and justice is served."

Twisha Sharma, a resident of Noida, had married Bhopal-based Samarth Singh in December 2025.
