Bhopal is set to host a film trailer launch programme at BHEL Dussehra Maidan on Saturday, May 23. The event will be graced by prominent personalities, including music director AR Rahman and actress Janhvi Kapoor, who will both attend and perform. A large number of spectators are expected to participate in the programme.
Traffic Arrangements and Diversions
In view of the anticipated traffic pressure during the event, special traffic arrangements, diversions and parking facilities for visitors will be implemented from 5 pm onwards as per requirement. The traffic police have announced alternative routes for the general public to ensure smooth movement.
Alternative Routes
- Traffic coming from Mahatma Gandhi Square towards Career College will be diverted via Gate No. 6, Gulab Udyan Trisection and Kasturba Hospital towards ISBT and Chetak Bridge.
- Traffic moving from Chetak Bridge-Govindpura Turning towards Mahatma Gandhi Square will be diverted from Sanchi Dairy cut point through Kasturba Hospital, Gulab Udyan Road, Gate No. 6 and Barkheda Market towards Mahatma Gandhi Square.
- Vehicles travelling from ITI Trisection towards Chetak Bridge and ISBT via Career College Trisection will be diverted from Security Line Square through Samvatika Petrol Pump Trisection towards Chetak Bridge.
- All buses and commercial vehicles will be allowed to move from Patel Nagar via Gyarah Meel and Bag Sewania towards ISBT.
Parking Arrangements
Parking facilities have been arranged for attendees from different directions:
- Vehicles coming from Pilpani, Mahatma Gandhi Square, Sadbhavana and ITI side will be able to park at the ground near Hema School.
- Vehicles arriving from Hoshangabad Road, DB Mall, Chetak Bridge and Anna Nagar side can park at the ground behind Career College.
- Additional parking arrangements around the venue ground will also be made if required.
The traffic police have appealed to the public to cooperate by following traffic rules and supporting smooth traffic management.
