According to recent reports, the 'Raaka' star aims to address the growing issue of delayed film releases that are affecting theaters across the country.

As per a report by Gulte, many top actors are taking two to three years to release a single film, leading to a slowdown in the availability of big-budget movies for theaters. This trend is causing financial strain, with speculation that nearly 40 percent of single-screen theaters may shut down if the situation persists. Multiplexes are also facing challenges, as irregular big releases disrupt cash flow for the entire industry.
Different Approach by Prabhas
Actor Prabhas has adopted a different strategy by working on multiple films simultaneously, ensuring a more frequent release schedule. Inspired by this, Allu Arjun is now planning to follow a similar path. Instead of completing one film before starting another, he intends to work on two projects concurrently.
Buzz Around Allu Arjun
Industry insiders suggest that Allu Arjun may begin a film with director Lokesh Kanagaraj in October 2026, followed by another project in April 2027 with a top Telugu director. He is also in talks with Basil Joseph for a potential collaboration. To streamline his schedule, Allu Arjun has set a limit of 200 shooting days per film. If a project exceeds this timeframe, he will start another film simultaneously rather than waiting.

On the work front, Allu Arjun is currently shooting for a sci-fi action thriller directed by Atlee, known for 'Jawan' and 'Theri'. Reports also indicate that Mrunal Thakur, Janhvi Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna are part of the project.
