Anaswara Rajan has been roped in to play Chiranjeevi's daughter in director Bobby Kolli's upcoming commercial entertainer. The casting marks Anaswara's first collaboration with the megastar.
Director's Vision for the Role
Speaking exclusively to Hyderabad Times, Bobby Kolli said that the team was looking for an actor who could bring both innocence and emotional strength to the role. "The character required someone who could balance innocence with emotional strength, and Anaswara immediately came to mind. Since the role is close to her age, we felt she could naturally bring honesty and warmth to the performance. I'm looking forward to seeing her scenes with Chiranjeevi garu," he said.
Emotional Core of the Film
The filmmaker added that the father-daughter relationship forms an important emotional thread in the story. He revealed that the film will revisit the emotional depth audiences have enjoyed in some of Chiranjeevi's memorable performances over the years. "Whether it is Daddy or Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, audiences have always loved seeing Chiranjeevi garu in emotionally layered father roles. This film will also carry that emotional essence while being mounted as a commercial action entertainer," Bobby shared.
The film is expected to be a high-budget commercial entertainer, blending action with heartfelt moments. Anaswara Rajan, known for her work in Malayalam cinema, is poised to make a strong impression in Telugu cinema with this high-profile project.
