Anna Faris Brings Son Jack to 'Scary Movie 6' Premiere

Anna Faris, best known for the television series 'Mom' and the 'Scary Movie' franchise, made the premiere of 'Scary Movie 6' a family affair. The 49-year-old actress brought her 13-year-old son Jack to the red carpet event in Los Angeles, marking the teen's first public appearance in years.

Family Night at the Premiere

According to Extra, Faris was accompanied by her husband Michael Barrett and his children Dashiell Barrett and Margot Barrett. The entire group posed together, creating a picture-perfect family moment. Jack, whom Faris shares with ex-husband Chris Pratt, appeared comfortable on the red carpet alongside his mother and stepfather's family.

Anna Faris Stuns in Black Gown

Anna, 49, turned heads in a long body-hugging black halter gown with cutouts at the midsection. Her blonde hair was pulled back in a loose bun, with long bangs accentuating her face. The actress looked radiant as she posed with family members for photographers at the star-studded event.

Reflections on Filming 'Scary Movie 6'

Faris spoke with Extra on the red carpet about her favorite scene to film, which involved her character Cindy saving Regina Hall's Brenda. She discussed training for her stunts, calling 'Scary Movie' a 'boot camp.' At the junket, she opened up emotionally: 'I'm emotional about it. It's ridiculous. I never thought that 'Scary Movie' and emotion would be combined in my brain,' she told the outlet.

Thanking the Wayans Family

Faris expressed gratitude towards the Wayans family: 'When they got their franchise taken away from them after 'Scary Movie 2,' I went on to do 'Scary Movie 3' and '4,' and then years pass. I never got to thank Keenen [Ivory Wayans] and it always bothered me. It always bothered me, too, how, like, Hollywood didn't seem to understand comedy.' She added, 'I got to be a part of this and thank them. Love it.'

Co-Stars Tease Spoofs

The cast also spoke with outlets at the premiere about their favorite moments from the film. Marlon and Shawn teased some of their favorite spoofs, naming 'Sinners' and 'Scream' among the targets.

'Scary Movie 6' hits theaters on June 5, with Anna Faris leading the iconic franchise forward while bringing her family closer to her professional endeavors.
