In a heartwarming tale of perseverance and dedication, Hiradhar Sahu, a daily-wage worker from Panposh in Rourkela, walked with immense pride as his daughter Archita Sahu achieved remarkable success in the Annual Higher Secondary Examination (AHSE). The results, declared on Wednesday, saw Archita not only topping the arts stream in her school but also emerging as one of the top scorers in the entire Sundargarh district.
Exceptional Academic Achievement
Archita, who hails from Badgagua in Bonai subdivision of Sundargarh district but resides in Panposh with her father Hiradhar and homemaker mother, secured an impressive 571 marks out of 600, translating to a stellar 95.17 percent. She studied at Government Higher Secondary School, Rourkela, and was overjoyed upon seeing her results.
Dedication and Hard Work
Expressing her delight, Archita said, 'I am delighted with my result. Hard work and focus are key to my success. I studied for five to six hours regularly, and during exams, the study time increased to 10 hours daily. The credit for my success goes to my parents, teachers and principal.' Her disciplined routine and unwavering commitment paid off handsomely.
Future Aspirations
Archita aims to pursue graduation in arts at Government Autonomous College in Rourkela and aspires to crack the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) examination. Her goal is to serve the society and make her family proud.
Father's Pride
Hiradhar Sahu, who works as a daily-wage laborer, could not contain his joy. 'I am very happy that my daughter has secured such good marks. I am proud of her,' he said. His daughter's achievement is a testament to the fact that financial constraints cannot hinder determination and hard work.
