Delhi Creator Earns Rs 24,000 Selling Maggi in Mountains, Video Goes Viral
Delhi Creator Earns Rs 24K Selling Maggi in Mountains

In January 2026, content creator Badal Thakur made headlines by selling Maggi for a day in the hills and earning Rs 21,000. Now, a Delhi-based content creator has joined the trend, earning Rs 24,000 by selling Maggi at a picturesque mountain location. Devansh Tyagi, known for his challenge-based videos on Instagram, documented his attempt to set up a temporary Maggi stall at a scenic hilltop spot and made a substantial sum in a single day.

The Maggi Experiment

According to the video, Tyagi scouted for a scenic location, arranged packets of instant noodles for display, placed plastic tables and chairs for customers, and created a small cooking station overlooking the hills. Soon after the stall opened, hikers and tourists began stopping by for food. He can be seen cooking fresh portions of Maggi for customers while interacting with them. Regular Maggi was priced at Rs 100 per plate, while butter Maggi cost Rs 120. At the end of the experiment, Tyagi claimed he had earned Rs 24,000 in a single day from selling Maggi.

Viral Sensation

The video quickly went viral, crossing 92.1 million views and triggering widespread discussion online about the popularity of Maggi at hill stations and tourist spots. The idea is not entirely new. In January, another creator conducted a similar experiment, selling normal Maggi for Rs 70 and cheese Maggi for Rs 100. By the end of the day, he sold around 300 plates and earned close to Rs 21,000.

Why Maggi Tastes So Good in the Mountains

Weather Change

One of the reasons it works well is the weather. The dip in temperature makes you crave heavy and filling meals. Maggi, made with maida, solves the purpose with the goodness of veggies and becomes deeply satisfying.

Nostalgia

Food is often associated with nostalgia and memories. Maggi in the mountains is tied to memories of vacations, road trips, rain-soaked evenings, bonfires, and friendships, which is why people often indulge to revisit those good times.

Filling and Comforting

We have been eating Maggi for years. When you are in the mountains, steep treks often make you hungry, and that is when Maggi comes as a savior, loaded with carbs and fats as it is mostly made with all-purpose flour. The use of butter in making this iconic dish makes it even more filling and comforting.
