Tamil star Dhanush, who is gearing up for his upcoming movie 'Kara', recently spoke about his elder son Yatra at the pre-release event. There has been much speculation that his son may enter films soon. However, the actor made it clear that nothing is decided yet.
Yatra's Entry in Films
As per a report by Pinkvilla, Dhanush said, "I came into acting at the age of 16 because of my circumstances. He is just 19 now, and I still see him as a kid. I don't know what he will become yet, it's too early to say." His words indicate that he is not rushing his son into cinema.
No Plans to Launch Son or Direct Next Film
There were also talks that Dhanush might launch his son himself, with some even suggesting he could direct that film. But Dhanush cleared this too. He stated that he has not decided on his next film as a director. Right now, he wants to focus only on acting. He did not confirm any plans regarding his son's debut or his own directorial venture.
About 'Kara'
Speaking of his upcoming release, 'Kara' is set to be an action thriller directed by Vignesh Raja. The story is set in 1991 in Ramanathapuram. Dhanush plays Karasamy, a man who was once a thief. He tries to live a good life but is forced to return to crime. He wants to reclaim his family's land and fulfill his father's last wish. The film also depicts the time of the Gulf War between the USA and Iraq. It is scheduled for release on April 30, 2026.
Dhanush is currently busy with multiple films. He is working with Rajkumar Periasamy, Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, and Mari Selvaraj. He also confirmed that 'Vada Chennai 2' will happen. Additionally, he will be seen in 'D55', where Mammootty plays an important role. Sreeleela and Sai Pallavi are also part of that film.
