Divyenndu Makes Telugu Debut with Ram Charan's Peddi

Divyenndu, widely recognized for his role in the popular web series 'Mirzapur', is set to make his Telugu film debut with the highly anticipated movie 'Peddi', starring Ram Charan and Janvi Kapoor. In a recent interview, the actor shared his experiences working on the film, describing the journey as both exhilarating and demanding.

Language as the Biggest Hurdle

Since 'Peddi' marks his first foray into Telugu cinema, mastering the language proved to be the most formidable challenge for Divyenndu during the shoot. According to a report by India Today, the actor candidly admitted that learning Telugu dialogues was no easy feat. 'Language is still a little tricky. You get used to it, so I had to mug up a lot of lines. But once you understand the meaning behind the lines, it becomes a little bit easier. But still, Telugu is not that easy. That used to give me sleepless nights,' he confessed.

'Peddi' Felt Like a Grand Saga

Discussing the film's scope, Divyenndu expressed amazement at its sheer scale and vision. He revealed that 'Peddi' felt far larger than a typical movie because it weaves together a multitude of emotions and genres within a single narrative. 'I mean, it looked like a saga to me. It's just so many different things happening, so many different genres happening in one film. I was just so amazed and glad that it's all coming together so beautifully. I was just absolutely amazed by the whole thing,' he said. The actor added that being part of such a monumental project was a uniquely special experience.

Divyenndu Praises Co-Star Ram Charan

Divyenndu had nothing but high praise for his co-star Ram Charan, commending the megastar's humility and warmth on set. 'He's not different, actually. He's such a wonderful actor, just like a true actor, without any baggage, without any hoopla-hoos of the world, nothing. He was there every day, there was a give-and-take, there were compliments exchanged, and I think we did something really good together. The kind of comfort and warmth he gave me, I really cherish that,' Divyenndu remarked. He further noted that the support from Ram Charan greatly helped him acclimatize to the new environment.

In 'Peddi', Divyenndu essays the role of 'Rambujji'. The film also features a stellar ensemble cast including Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Boman Irani, among others. 'Peddi' is scheduled for release on June 4.
