Meerut: The Middle Wing of K L International School organised 'Kahani Cafe Season 5 -- The Celebration of Stories' to promote storytelling, moral values, and creativity among students, officials said.
Parent Guests as Storytellers
In this unique initiative, parent guests were invited to deliver messages through storytelling. Jaspreet Kaur and Swati Sharma, both parents of two students, anchored the session with value-based narratives.
Kaur's story, 'The Power of a Calm Mind,' revolved around how emotional composure shapes relationships and behaviour. Sharma's presentation, 'The Invisible Hands - Mother,' was an emotional tribute to a mother's silent sacrifices and unconditional love.
Principal's Inspiring Tale
Principal Sudhanshu Shekhar told a story titled 'Ek Amar Shikshak - S K Gupta Sir,' recounting how a Statistics teacher's unconventional methods left a lasting impact on his students. He said, 'The story highlighted how a teacher named Srishti, later a successful lawyer, challenged Gupta Sir in class, only to realise the depth of his knowledge and vision.'
'These sessions pique students' interest in storytelling, following which they are also motivated to read stories on their own, promoting reading habits,' he added.
