The original 'Queen,' released in 2013, was a major success, and the sequel has generated strong interest among fans. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the actor steps back into the role of Rani, the beloved protagonist from the first film.
Balancing Film and Political Duties
Reports indicate that Kangana is currently managing a demanding schedule, balancing her work as an actor with her responsibilities as a Member of Parliament representing Mandi in Himachal Pradesh. She has been traveling frequently between Mumbai and Delhi, often flying to Delhi for the day, returning at night, and shooting until the next morning. Despite the hectic routine, she continues to shoot actively.
Production Details
April turned out to be a busy month for Kangana. She moved directly into 'Queen 2' preparations after completing her previous project, 'Bharat Bhagya Vidhata.' The production team had limited time to prepare. According to Mid Day, 'The team had just 20 days to prep. Now, they are shooting in and around Mumbai. The unit is currently filming in Grant Road, where a set depicting the protagonist’s home has been built.' Vikas Bahl is handling multiple roles on the project, working as writer, director, and co-producer. The film is planned on a three-month schedule from start to finish.
