As a young boy, KD admires a feared gangster named Dhak Deva, played by Sanjay Dutt. Deva is so powerful that even police officers fear him. Things begin to change when KD falls in love with Macchu Lakshmi, a bold and fearless woman who matches his energetic nature. The story takes a serious turn when dangerous incidents pull KD and his family into Deva's violent world. KD slowly learns shocking truths about the man he once respected and realizes that Deva may be the reason behind many painful events around him.

The film then follows KD's journey from a carefree youngster to a strong man ready to fight his own idol to protect his loved ones. Despite high expectations upon its theatrical release, the film had a below-par run, earning over Rs 24.19 crore worldwide.
