Koratala Siva to Direct Balakrishna in NBK112

Director Koratala Siva, who previously collaborated with Jr NTR on the blockbuster film 'Devara', is set to team up with veteran actor Nandamuri Balakrishna for an upcoming project. The movie, tentatively titled 'NBK112', was officially announced by the production house through a social media post.

Makers' Official Announcement

The production house took to their X (formerly Twitter) handle to share the news. In their post, the team unveiled a poster featuring Koratala Siva and Nandamuri Balakrishna, with the tagline, "Power Meets Purpose Mass Becomes A Movement." Although they did not reveal much, they confirmed that the shoot is set to begin soon. Along with the post, the makers added, "The Stars Align. A Festival Awaits," in the caption. Details about the plot, cast, and technical crew remain under wraps.

Devara Sequel Gets Further Wait

This announcement comes as unexpected news for fans, as many anticipated that Koratala Siva would work with Jr NTR on the sequel to 'Devara', which is reportedly in development. The film concluded in a manner that clearly hinted at a second part. Consequently, the wait for the sequel has now been extended. For now, the director appears to be focused solely on the Balakrishna film, with no update on when 'Devara: Part 2' will commence production.

Balakrishna's Packed Lineup

On the other hand, Nandamuri Balakrishna is also occupied with multiple film projects. He was last seen in 'Akhanda 2: Thaandavam', which received mixed reviews and did not perform at the box office as per its hype. Nevertheless, the actor is moving forward with new ventures. Apart from 'NBK112', he is also collaborating with director Gopichandh Malineni on 'NBK111'. With two major films in the pipeline, his lineup has become a hot topic among fans.
