In the latest episode of 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', Rio decides to inform Karan about Niyati's accident. Niyati then reveals to Rio that Ansh Virani is his father. She recounts how she and Ansh met and fell in love, but before they could marry, Tulsi killed him. Panicked, Niyati suspects Karan of betrayal, but Rio defends him, saying they only talked.
Tulsi and Niyati's Confrontation
Mihir insists that Tulsi persuade Niyati and Rio to return to Shantiniketan. However, Niyati accuses Tulsi of killing Ansh and asserts she has no right to keep them in the house. Nandini is pleased to learn that Rio and Niyati refuse to return home. She argues that since Niyati and Ansh were not married, Niyati has no reason to stay. But Tulsi strongly condemns her, stating that Rio is Ansh's son and Ansh was Tulsi's son, so Rio has complete rights to Shantiniketan. Tulsi tells Nandini not to accuse her, as she accepted Karan, Madira's son, and always believed in her own son. Tulsi reminds Nandini that she herself killed her own son, Ansh, so Nandini should never accuse her of anything.
Parth's Doubts About Rio
Parth doubts Rio's hidden intentions behind his refusal to return home. He supports Nandini's objection against Niyati and Rio because Nandini has suffered greatly because of them. However, Tulsi is determined to give Rio his rights. Parth complains to Vaishnavi that Rio is intentionally refusing to come back to take over the Virani industry. Vaishnavi refuses to believe him, but Parth insists on his strong feeling that Rio has hidden intentions.
The episode ends with a precap: Tulsi decides to give the power of attorney for the business to either Parth or Rio and will test them. She gives both a task to sell 5000 sarees and bring profit. Rio accepts the challenge.
