Man Dies by Suicide After Intercaste Marriage, Illness

A pall of gloom descended on Padakandla village in Allagadda mandal, Nandyal district, following the death of a 25-year-old man. Chiranjeevi, who was married and unemployed, died by suicide by jumping in front of a moving train near his village a couple of days ago. His final rites were performed by his family members.

Background of the Incident

According to locals, Chiranjeevi was the only son of Munaiah. His intercaste marriage was not approved by his family, which led to strained relations. Additionally, Chiranjeevi was suffering from an undiagnosed illness. Frustrated with his life, he took the extreme step.

Suicide Note Goes Viral

A suicide note allegedly left by the man went viral on social media platforms. In the note, Chiranjeevi requested that his mutilated body not be handed over to his parents, as they would not be able to bear his death.
