The story revolves around a robotic boss with an icy demeanor and his employee, who has been stuck in a career slump for seven years and simply looks forward to getting through each day. When the 9-to-5 schedule ends, she indulges in comfort food and video games until the boring routine starts again. Meanwhile, the boss adheres to a strict no-nonsense policy: no smiles, no small talk, and certainly no apologies, according to Soompi.
Release Date and Cast
Directed by Cho Eun Sol, the cast recently gathered for a table read. The production team shared, "This was a time where we were able to confirm synergy beyond expectations through the perfect chemistry of the actors and the solid script." They added, "We will greet viewers with a realistic story that any employee can relate to and a heart-fluttering romance, so please look forward to it a lot."
Seo In Guk takes on the role of the principled boss, Kang Si Woo, while Park Ji Hyun plays the lively yet worn-down employee, Cha Ji Yoon. Kang Mina portrays fellow employee Yoon No Ah, and Won Gyu Bin plays college student Lee Jae In, alongside Choi Kyung Hoon as band vocalist Jo Ga Eul.
