A major tragedy has struck the team of Prabhas-starrer 'Fauzi'. One crew member lost their life in a road accident near Hyderabad, while five others sustained serious injuries. The incident has left the entire unit shaken and brought production activities to an immediate halt.

Shoot for 'Fauzi' halted

Following the accident, the makers have paused the shoot to honour the deceased crew member and allow time for necessary formalities. The production team is working with authorities, and police have begun an investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause. Initial reports indicate that the driver may have lost control, but officials are also checking if safety protocols were followed properly. More clarity is expected in the coming days. So far, there has been no official statement from the makers or from Prabhas.

'Fauzi' leak controversy

Earlier in April, the film was progressing with its shoot. Like many big projects, it faced issues with leaked images from the set. The team responded with a strict warning on social media: "It has come to our attention that certain accounts are circulating leaked images from the sets of #Fauzi. Please treat this as a strict warning - any such content will be reported, and necessary action will be taken against those involved."

Director Hanu Raghavapudi also shared his concern, urging fans to respect the team's effort: "We've poured our hearts into #Fauzi to give you something truly special. Humbly requesting everyone, please don't spoil the magic with leaks. Let's experience it the way it's meant to be… together in theatres."

In the film, Prabhas plays a soldier described as a "one-man battalion." The makers introduced the project on his birthday, hinting at a story rooted in history and courage: "#PrabhasHanu is #FAUZI. The bravest tale of a soldier from the hidden chapters of our history."
