Several months after the makers unveiled the first look poster at midnight on New Year's 2026, a new image of Prabhas, allegedly walking on the film sets, has been circulating on fan handles.
Viral Clip from Kompally Sets
The viral clip, believed to be from the filming location in Kompally, Hyderabad, shows the actor in an all-white avatar, sporting sunglasses, sandals, and his longer wavy hair. While Prabhas appears to casually stroll on the sets, his crew members and security personnel can be seen looking at him. This sighting has significantly heightened anticipation for the film.
About 'Spirit'
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, 'Spirit' is one of Prabhas' most awaited projects. The film has generated considerable buzz since its announcement, especially following the controversy surrounding Deepika Padukone's exit due to alleged scheduling conflicts. The makers have kept plot details largely under wraps, but 'Spirit' is expected to feature Prabhas in a powerful and intense role.
Production and Cast
The shoot commenced in November 2025, and the team has managed to keep most details hidden except for this leak. The mahurat ceremony was attended by several bigwigs from the entertainment industry, including megastar Chiranjeevi as a special guest. The first poster featured actress Triptii Dimri helping a wounded Prabhas light a cigarette.
On Prabhas' birthday in October last year, Vanga shared the film's audio teaser in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, revealing Prakash Raj and Vivek as key cast members. The teaser ended with Prabhas' line: "Right from childhood, I have one bad habit." According to reports, Prabhas is said to portray an IPS officer currently behind bars. Actor Vivek Oberoi also has a key role in the film.
Release Date
'Spirit' is set to hit cinema halls on March 5, 2027. This marks Vanga's primary professional association with Prabhas, though the director previously worked with Triptii Dimri in the 2023 release 'Animal', co-starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna.
