Despite being heavily outnumbered, the seven heroes—Visaji Ballal, Dipoji Rautrao, Vithal Pilaji Atre, Krishnaji Bhaskar, Siddi Hilal, and Vithoji—sacrificed their lives to protect the Maratha Empire's honor.
