Ram Charan on Box Office: Numbers Matter But Not Everything, Excited for 'Peddi'
Ram Charan: Box Office Numbers Matter But Not Everything

Tollywood star Ram Charan, known for his role in the global blockbuster 'RRR', believes that while box office numbers play a role in shaping an actor's career, they are not the sole determinant of success. As he prepares for his upcoming sports drama 'Peddi', the actor shared his candid views on the significance of box office collections.

Ram Charan's Take on Box Office Numbers

In a recent interaction with ANI, Ram Charan elaborated on the relationship between box office performance and future projects. He stated, "Good box office is related to the next film. You have the scope to experiment more. So numbers are important, but it's not the only thing." According to Charan, a strong box office showing provides actors with the freedom to take creative risks in subsequent projects, but it should not overshadow other aspects of filmmaking.

Following the monumental success of SS Rajamouli's 'RRR', Ram Charan emerged as one of the most prominent stars in Indian cinema. However, his next major release, the 2025 film 'Game Changer' directed by Shankar, failed to meet expectations. Despite high anticipation, the film received a lukewarm response from audiences and underperformed at the box office. This has heightened curiosity among fans about 'Peddi', which Charan is approaching with great confidence.
