The much-awaited pan-India sports drama 'Peddi', starring Ram Charan and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is gearing up for a grand trailer launch event in Bhopal on May 16, 2026. According to a report by Variety India, the event will be a star-studded affair, with key members of the film's team in attendance, including Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, director Buchi Babu Sana, producer Venkata Satish Kilaru, and filmmaker Sukumar. Adding to the excitement, Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman, who has scored the music for 'Peddi', will perform live at the event.
About 'Peddi'
'Peddi' is a village-based sports action drama where Ram Charan portrays a character excelling in two sports: cricket and wrestling. In the teaser and the song 'Chikri Chikri', the 'RRR' star is seen wielding a cricket bat and adopting a batting stance. On his recent birthday, the makers released the 'Peddi Pehelwan' clip, showcasing a muscular Ram Charan flexing, practicing, and grappling in a wrestling ring.

The film boasts an ensemble cast including Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma, and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. It is also reported to feature a special song with Shruti Haasan dancing alongside Ram Charan. 'Peddi' is set for a worldwide release on June 4, 2026, with premieres planned for June 3.
