Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan has officially started shooting for his new film 'Seyon'. The makers recently announced that the team held a puja ceremony and shared pictures of the new beginnings on social media. The movie is a Sivakumar Murugesan directorial.

The makers shared the update on social media and called it a "celebration moment". A special video titled "Journey Begins Tomorrow" was also released. The video showed Sivakarthikeyan meeting Kamal Haasan and spending time with the full team before the shoot started.
This film marks Sivakarthikeyan's return to Raaj Kamal Films International after the success of 'Amaran'. The actor shares a strong bond with the production house after the film became both a critical and commercial hit.
The new movie also stars Bhagyashri Borse and Bala Saravanan in important roles. Music for the film is composed by Santhosh Narayanan.

The teaser is set during the Maasi Kalari Festival at the Karumathur Virumandi Temple. It starts with a police investigation after a violent clash during the celebrations. Slowly, Sivakarthikeyan's character is introduced as a feared and respected man. Locals in the teaser call him "Lord Virumandi", reminding many people of Kamal Haasan's famous role in 'Virumandi'.
