Indore: A late-night dispute stemming from an old rivalry turned violent in Indore’s MIG police station area, where three young women allegedly attacked another woman with a blade and a glass bottle outside a café on Saturday night.

Incident Details

Police said that a woman named Aarushi, a resident of Nehru Nagar, had gone to a café with two friends around 11:30 pm for tea when Vaishnavi, Neha, and Achhu arrived at the spot. The three allegedly confronted her over a previous dispute, leading to a heated argument.

Rescue and Hospitalization

A young man and a woman present at the spot intervened and rescued Aarushi. They took her to a hospital for treatment.

Background of the Dispute

During questioning, Aarushi said the animosity had begun after Vaishnavi was involved in a quarrel and assault case with one of her friends. Following that incident, she had stopped interacting with the accused women. Police suspect the attack was carried out due to the lingering dispute between the two sides.

Legal Action

Based on Aarushi’s complaint, MIG police have registered a case against Vaishnavi, Neha, and Achhu and launched an investigation.
