'Karuppu' Becomes First Major Release After Vijay's Swearing In
Interestingly, the first major Tamil film release after Vijay's government takes charge will be 'Karuppu', starring Suriya and Trisha Krishnan. Directed by RJ Balaji, the film was initially rumored to face delays. However, the makers recently shared a fresh poster of Suriya and Trisha, confirming that the film will release on May 14. Fans became excited after the update and started sharing the poster online.

He further added, "Now that it's a happy ending, let's get ready for the trailer in the evening at 7pm. Bookings will open simultaneously." The director also praised Suriya, saying, "@Suriya_offl sir's Peak Sambavam Loading."
