Shimla: The second edition of the Devbhoomi International Film Festival is set to take place in Mandi from July 3 to July 5 at Sanskriti Sadan. The event will bring together actors, filmmakers, and cinema enthusiasts from across the country.
Festival Highlights
Festival organiser and film director Pawan Sharma announced on Wednesday that 25 short films will be screened during the three-day event, including productions by filmmakers from Himachal Pradesh. Renowned actors such as Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastava, Rajesh Jais, Yashpal Sharma, and Hemant Pandey are expected to participate.
Workshops and Activities
In addition to film screenings, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about filmmaking, acting, and screenplay writing through masterclasses and appreciation courses. Activities will be held daily from 11 am to 8 pm. A special programme is also planned at Mandi's historic Clock Tower complex.
Honours and Recognition
The festival will honour distinguished contributors to art, literature, journalism, and photography.
