He instructs Saloni to speak to his father and request him to call them to Surat, as their future lies there. Saloni points out that many people do not receive the family love and affection that he does, but Dev ignores her comment.
Damini and Nandini's Conversation
Damini tells Nandini that she cannot fully understand her situation, but she is certain that Karan loves only her.
Rio Takes Dev's Side
Rio asks Dev why he is upset about his brother. He states that Parth does not deserve the property, and in his opinion, Dev deserves it. Rio remarks that wrong people often receive more support. Parth overhears and challenges Rio to repeat his words loudly. Karan warns Rio to watch his language. Gautam advises Karan to let Parth handle Rio, as Rio will not listen to Karan since he is not his father. Sahil urges everyone to hurry as they are getting late.
Emotional Goodbyes
Munni gives Ritik his lunch box and notices she is crying. Tulsi tells Ritik that Munni will miss him. Damini jokes with Tulsi. Ritik tells Munni to take care of herself, and Munni asks him not to miss her too much. Ritik admits he will really miss her, and she asks him to return soon. The ladies enjoy mangoes and juice. Niyati asks Tulsi who Nandini is, and Tulsi explains that Nandini is her daughter-in-law. Niyati inquires about Nandini's husband and apologizes for asking. She mentions that Karan never told her about his family. Tulsi makes an excuse and goes to the kitchen. Tulsi tells Nandini she is making her favorite lentil dish. Tulsi understands her problem but does not realize how much Nandini is struggling. Nandini asks Munni who is bearing all this because no one understands her. Tulsi reaffirms her support for Nandini. Nandini accuses Tulsi of not being on her side anymore. Tulsi says she is also a mother and can understand. Nandini retorts that she has to understand every time. Munni tries to stop their argument.
Dev's Complaints and Rio's Promises
Dev talks to Saloni and asks her to tell his father that he needs more clothes. Saloni refuses to call him. Rio is unhappy with Dev's situation and believes the Virani family shows off too much. Rio asks Dev why he is upset. Dev reveals that Uncle Karan wants to send him to Jamshedpur. Dev is jealous of Parth, and Rio assures him of his support. Dev complains that Khushbu is more annoying than anyone. Rio promises to teach Khushbu a lesson. Dev says Khushbu is not worth it.
The Celebration Begins
The Goud Bharai ceremony starts in Shantiniketan, and Khushbu dances with Munni. Everyone slowly joins the dance except Nandini and Tulsi. Munni asks Nandini to join, but she refuses. Ritik calls Munni to express his love and share what is happening. Munni asks if she should stay away from their matters. Ritik advises Munni not to get involved. Gautam asks Ritik why he is talking to his wife and tells Munni that her husband is not so charming, so let them handle things. Gautam instructs Munni to enjoy the ceremony. Sahil asks Gautam what he did with Ritik.
Lunch and Phone Calls
Everyone enjoys lunch, and Munni and Saloni want to eat with them on the floor, but Tulsi does not allow it. Niyati is happy to have such a wonderful family and plans to ask Karan why he did not tell her about them. Gayatri consoles Tulsi. Damini notices that Father is calling Mother for the 13th time.
Parth Calls Vaishnavi
The train stops at Borivali, and Parth gets a chance to call Vaishnavi. Vaishnavi takes the call privately and asks why he called her. Parth tells her he misses her. She says she was enjoying mango juice. Parth shares the station name. Parth tells Vaishnavi that Rio is strange.
