Inside Tanya Mittal's Gwalior mansion with viral kitchen lift

While Gaurav Khanna lifted the winner's trophy of Bigg Boss 19, it was contestant Tanya Mittal who captured the nation's curiosity with her bold claims about an ultra-luxurious lifestyle. From mentioning helpers to assist her while bathing to claiming her residences had lifts, including one in the kitchen, Tanya became a central figure for online discussion and trolling. Her assertions about owning multiple factories, avoiding party culture, and having no friends were heavily scrutinized, with many questioning the authenticity of her stories.

The Grand Homecoming and House Tour

After a long 104-day separation inside the Bigg Boss house, Tanya Mittal reunited with her family in Gwalior amidst grand celebrations, complete with cake-cutting and emotional embraces. To address the swirling speculation, she invited the team from News Pinch to document a tour of one of her family homes in Gwalior. "I didn't want to do a house tour because I don't want to validate anything," Tanya stated, adding, "Secondly, I have multiple houses in Gwalior, so I can't give a tour of just one."

The sprawling property, adorned with sculptures and photographs of deities, confirmed several of her much-discussed claims. The home features a lift connecting multiple floors, with one entire floor dedicated exclusively to Tanya. This private sanctuary includes her personal gym, spa, jacuzzi, water fountain, drawing room, and bedroom.

Family Defends Tanya's Claims and Lifestyle

Tanya's family members passionately came forward to corroborate her statements and provide context to their lifestyle. Her mother shared the emotional toll of watching her daughter in the show, saying, "We have never left Tanya alone... She suffered a lot." She emphasized that in their home, daughters are adored.

Addressing the viral point of contention, her sister-in-law remarked on the kitchen lift, saying, "We have had a kitchen lift for over 15 years. I don't understand why people treated it like the eighth wonder of the world." Another cousin suggested Tanya was targeted inside the Bigg Boss house because her confident demeanor posed a threat to others.

The family shed light on their substantial business background. Tanya was raised in a large joint family with diverse industrial interests. Her uncles own multiple factories, her maternal aunt runs a solar factory, and her brother-in-law owns several jewellery showrooms. "Everything she claimed is true. You'll find lifts in all our homes. We have several factories across Gwalior," her aunt affirmed.

Silver Utensils, Spiritual Roots, and Future Plans

The much-discussed use of silver utensils, which became a headline after her time in Bigg Boss, was also addressed. Tanya's brother-in-law explained, "Using silver plates, glasses, and bottles is normal for us. Silver has medicinal properties. I don't know why it became such a big headline." He attributed the surprise to cultural differences, noting that many contestants from Mumbai are accustomed to smaller living spaces.

The family reiterated their spiritual upbringing and values. "We are a deeply spiritual family. We don't drink or eat non-vegetarian food. Our gatherings themselves feel like parties because the family is so big," a family member shared.

As the tour concluded on her exclusive floor, Tanya showed off her space, stating, "This entire floor is mine—my room, gym, and drawing room. No one else comes here." Her brother added that the floor was specifically designed as a spa for her.

On her future, Tanya revealed that she has received several offers for films, web series, and advertisements post-Bigg Boss. However, she stated, "But right now, my family is my priority, and they will decide what I take up next." She also joked that the tour revealed only a fraction of the family's assets, hinting at more than what meets the eye.
