Rajat Dalal Opens Up About Fallout with Prince Narula and Chahat Pandey Speculations
In an exclusive and revealing conversation with Times of India TV, Rajat Dalal, the recent participant in the reality show 'The 50', has shared candid details about his journey, including a significant fallout with fellow contestant Prince Narula and his response to ongoing romantic link-up rumors with Chahat Pandey.
A Journey of Resilience and Athletic Background
Rajat Dalal began by addressing his supporters, whom he prefers to call "brothers and family" rather than fans. He expressed confidence that they are proud of his performance on the show, where he gave his best and faced no one who could stand against him for long. He emphasized the importance of staying positive and happy, regardless of outcomes.
Reflecting on his personal journey, Dalal revealed that he started as an athlete after college, facing numerous injuries over time. He highlighted that life's challenges include physical, mental, and financial ups and downs, but real problems often stem from family issues. For him, injuries were manageable with care and time, and his primary focus was preventing them from becoming serious.
Overcoming Severe Injuries and Show Commitment
Dalal detailed his history of severe injuries, including torn ligaments, damaged meniscus, twisted legs, SI joint and disc issues, and a broken hand. Remarkably, just nine days after getting a plaster, he won a bronze medal at the world level, lifting 300–310 kg despite the injury. He noted that his hand remains not completely straight to this day, with multiple tears.
During 'The 50', the production team warned him that he might need to leave for surgery, but Dalal insisted on continuing as long as he could manage. He took full responsibility for his condition, pushing through a torn and shifted tendon that affected his movement and grip. After the show, he underwent the necessary surgery, demonstrating his dedication and resilience.
Fallout with Prince Narula: A Shift in Relationship
One of the most striking revelations was Dalal's fallout with Prince Narula. He stated that he no longer feels like calling Narula "brother," a term he used before the show. Dalal criticized Narula's behavior, describing it as immature for someone of his age and achievements, including being called the "king of reality shows." He accused Narula of taking digs at him without provocation.
Dalal emphasized that he never acted behind Narula's back, confronting him directly in the game whenever possible. Despite Narula having the support of the entire show, more people, and greater experience, Dalal managed to turn the game around and protect his allies. He expressed that if someone better defeats him in the future, he will appreciate them and maintain respect to preserve bonds.
Addressing Romantic Link-Up with Chahat Pandey
Regarding the romantic speculations with Chahat Pandey, Dalal clarified that there is nothing between them. He explained that working in the industry requires being open and not viewing things from a gender perspective. Compared to his time on Bigg Boss, where he didn't hug anyone, he has become more comfortable and hugged many people on 'The 50'.
