Kanpur: The Yoga Week commenced at Nana Rao Park on Monday, with District Magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh inaugurating the yoga camp that will run from June 15 to 21, 2026. During the event, he encouraged attendees to incorporate yoga into their daily routines.

The District Magistrate urged residents to participate in large numbers in the main International Yoga Day event scheduled for June 21, 2026, at Green Park stadium. He noted that various yoga programs are being organized daily across the district during Yoga Week at locations such as Nana Rao Park, Mall Road, and Phoolbagh.
