The historic Jyotiba Temple at Wadi-Ratnagiri hill in Kolhapur witnessed an overwhelming gathering on Wednesday as over 5 lakh devotees from across Maharashtra and neighboring states converged for the auspicious Chaitra Yatra. Around noon, a distinguished delegation of officials and ministers arrived to offer prayers. Tourism Minister Shamburaj Desai led the group, accompanied by Kolhapur District Collector Amol Yedge, Zilla Parishad CEO S. Karthikeyan, Kolhapur Superintendent of Police Yogesh Kumar Gupta, and PMDS Secretary Shivraj Naikwade. The dignitaries performed ceremonial worship of the Pratham Manachi Sasan-Kathi from Satara district's Ninam Padali village, marking a significant moment in the day's proceedings.
