Short Film Adda Returns with Triptych of Human Stories
Short Film Adda is back in Ahmedabad, presenting a carefully curated triptych of films that delve into the quiet tremors and transformative moments of the human spirit. This evening of cinema moves through evocative landscapes of doubt, companionship, and inner resilience, offering audiences a profound window into lives shaped by subtle yet powerful experiences.
Exploring Deep Emotional Currents
In Phaans, viewers witness a marriage beginning to fray under the heavy weight of resurfacing suspicions, creating a tense narrative about trust and relationships. Nadi Jaha Thami Thi traces a tender and moving bond between two women as they navigate the complex currents of loneliness and connection. Completing this compelling trio is Line of Courage, a poignant exploration of silent trauma that gradually blossoms into themes of sisterhood and personal renewal.
The screenings will conclude with an intimate Q&A session, designed to bridge the gap between the filmmaker's creative process and the audience's engaged gaze, fostering a deeper understanding of the artistic vision behind each work.

Contrasting Worlds of Abstract Art at MOCA Gandhinagar
MOCA Gandhinagar unveils two concurrent exhibitions by the talented artist Ajay Choudhary, mapping the vast and interconnected territories of abstract thought. Its dynamic counterpart, Rhythms of Abstraction, pulses with a distinctly different energy, defined by layered surfaces and vigorous mark-making that masterfully capture the tension and fluidity of movement. Together, these shows create a compelling and thought-provoking dialogue between the artist's quiet reflections and his most expressive intensities, tracing the full breadth and evolution of his unique visual language.
When: Until May 20, from 12 noon to 6pm daily (visits are by appointment only)
Where: MOCA Gandhinagar, Veer Resi, near Taj Gandhinagar
