Lucknow: Renowned artists from across the country will gather in Ayodhya from June 15 to 19 for an event themed on celebrating and recalling the city’s contributions to art, literature, culture and spiritual heritage. The programme will feature reflections on musical traditions, poetry, visual arts, cultural and historical significance, and personal experiences linked to Ayodhya. Ten distinguished artists are expected to present their creative work and perspectives before audiences during the five-day gathering.
The event is being organised under the patronage of Manjula Jhunjhunwala, with Dr Awadhesh Misra serving as curator. It aims to provide a common platform for artists coming from nine states.
Participants include Padma Shri Shyam Sharma from Bihar; Ramchandra Kharatmal and Douglas John from Maharashtra; Dr Ram Viranjan from Haryana; Kanu Patel from Gujarat; Arpitha Reddy from Telangana; Trupti Joshi from Madhya Pradesh; Sukanta Das from West Bengal; Manash Ranjan Jena from Odisha; and Dr Awadhesh Misra from Uttar Pradesh.
