The Jaipur Mizo Christian Fellowship and Mizo Welfare are set to organize ‘YMA Day 2026’ on June 15. The event will take place on Monday from 12 noon onwards at The Westin Farm, located on Balaji City Road, Bindayaka, Jaipur.
Invitation and Participation
The organizers have extended invitations to people from all northeastern states residing in Jaipur to participate in the celebrations. The first session of the program will be chaired by Pu R Laltlanthanga, while the opening prayer will be offered by Nl. Jennifer R Lalhriatpuii.
Program Highlights
The YMA Day Message will be delivered by Pu R Lalchanchinmawia. The session will also feature special musical performances, a discussion on the YMA Pledge, and the felicitation of former leaders. The second session will include a variety of cultural and recreational activities such as group recitation by Jaipur Mizo children, musical chair competitions, solo performances, lemon-eating and nail-hammering contests, and traditional dances.
Additional Attractions
A swimming competition and a cultural concert will also be organized. One of the major attractions of the event will be the “Miss and Mr Jaipur” selection contest. Participants dressed in Mizo traditional attire will be eligible to compete, and the winners will be selected by a panel of judges.
Community Feast
According to the organizers, a community feast will also be arranged during the program. The food will be prepared at the venue itself, and community members have been requested to extend their cooperation in making the event successful.
Objectives
Jaipur Mizo Christian Fellowship and Mizo Welfare stated that the objective of organizing YMA Day is to promote Mizo culture, community unity, and social harmony. They appealed to all members of the northeastern community living in Jaipur to participate enthusiastically in the celebrations.
