Jharkhand's 25-Year Journey Celebrated with VR Tours & Historic Exhibits
Jharkhand marks 25 years with vibrant exhibition in Ranchi

Ranchi's Morhabadi Ground came alive with vibrant celebrations on Saturday as thousands gathered to mark a significant milestone - 25 years of Jharkhand's formation. The massive exhibition, adorned with traditional tribal artwork and motifs, attracted visitors from across the state who came to witness the journey of their homeland.

Virtual Reality Steals the Show

The tourism department's stall emerged as the centerpiece of attraction, featuring virtual reality (VR) sets that offered immersive three-minute tours of Jharkhand's most scenic destinations. Excited visitors formed long queues, eager to experience virtual visits to popular tourist spots without leaving the exhibition grounds.

Ten-year-old Archana Oraon expressed her excitement after trying the VR experience. "The virtual tour of Baba Baidyanath Dham, Saranda forest, and Chandil Dam was absolutely thrilling. I'm now motivated to actually visit these places to understand my state better," she shared enthusiastically.

Celebrating Tribal Legacy and State History

The exhibition dedicated special sections to two iconic leaders - Birsa Munda and Shibu Soren. History enthusiasts were treated to rare historical artifacts, including the original arrest warrant issued for Birsa Munda by British authorities. The display also featured significant moments from Shibu Soren's life, providing visitors with deep insights into the state's rich heritage.

Anil Singh, one of the many visitors, reflected on the educational value of the exhibition. "Through these rare photographs, we learned so much about our state's history. It truly makes me proud to call myself a Jharkhandi," he stated emotionally.

Government Departments Showcase Achievements

Various state government departments participated actively in the event, presenting their key achievements and milestones from the past quarter-century. Each stall highlighted contributions to Jharkhand's development journey, demonstrating how different sectors have propelled the state forward since its formation.

The successful exhibition not only celebrated Jharkhand's past but also inspired visitors about the state's future potential. The blend of traditional tribal culture with modern technology like VR demonstrated how the state honors its roots while embracing technological progress.
