JITO Belagavi Hosts Grand 20th Foundation Day Celebration
The Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) Belagavi chapter marked a significant milestone on Saturday, celebrating its 20th foundation day with a grand ceremony at Millennium Garden in Belagavi. The event brought together distinguished guests, award recipients, and members from various wings of the organisation, including the JITO Ladies' Wing (JLW) and JITO Youth Wing (JYW).
An Evening of Honor and Recognition
The celebration was dedicated to honoring the remarkable achievements of the Jain community across diverse professional fields. The evening commenced with the sacred chanting of the Navkar Maha Mantra, setting a spiritual tone for the proceedings. This was followed by the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony performed by the dignitaries in attendance.
Chairman Harshavardhan Inchal addressed the gathering, highlighting the organisation's substantial growth through its core verticals. He provided a comprehensive overview of the Belagavi Chapter's impressive progress over the past 14 years, detailing initiatives and community impact.
Event Convenor Bhavesh Shah elaborated on the purpose of the celebration, emphasizing JITO's commitment to fostering trade, education, and social welfare within the Jain community and beyond.
JITO Belagavi Award Ceremony 2026
The highlight of the evening was the JITO Belagavi Award Ceremony – 2026, where outstanding individuals and institutions were recognized for their contributions. All award recipients were presented with commemorative mementoes during the ceremony.
Santosh Porwal, Vice-Chairman of KKG Zone, praised JITO Belagavi's dedicated efforts, particularly noting their successful coordination for Vishwa Navakar Diwas registrations. His remarks underscored the chapter's active role in broader community initiatives.
The celebration featured participation from several dignitaries who contributed to the event's success, making it a memorable occasion that reflected both the organisation's heritage and its forward-looking vision.
