Mahalaxmi Saras 2026 Exhibition Inaugurated in Nagpur
The state-level Mahalaxmi Saras 2026 Exhibition has officially opened its doors at the Reshimbagh ground in Nagpur, offering city residents a vibrant opportunity to experience the rich cultural heritage of Maharashtra. This 13-day event, which commenced on Wednesday, is set to be a major attraction for locals and visitors alike.
Organizational Details and Scope
Organized through a collaborative effort by the rural development and panchayat raj department, the Umed Maharashtra State Rural Livelihoods Mission, and the Nagpur Zilla Parishad, the exhibition aims to promote rural entrepreneurship and traditional crafts. It features an impressive array of 370 stalls, all managed by women self-help groups representing 34 districts across the state.
Diverse Stalls and Offerings
The exhibition is meticulously curated to provide a diverse shopping and culinary experience. Approximately 100 stalls are dedicated to traditional food items, allowing attendees to savor authentic Maharashtrian delicacies. Meanwhile, 270 stalls display a wide range of household products, exquisite handicrafts, and unique rural artefacts, highlighting the artistic skills and craftsmanship of rural communities.

This event not only serves as a platform for economic empowerment but also fosters community engagement by bringing together artisans and consumers in a festive atmosphere.
