Inauguration and Inspirational Messages

The event was formally inaugurated by Didi Krishna Kumari, Head of the Sadhu Vaswani Mission. She passionately urged everyone to support the International Meatless Day campaign. Through insightful narratives, she reminded the attentive audience that choosing a diet free from meat is not merely a dietary choice but a meaningful act of peace that prevents harm to animals. Didi Krishna Kumari issued a compelling challenge to students and staff: to inspire at least one more person to embrace this compassionate practice, thereby amplifying the ripple effect of kindness.

Championing Compassion and Harmony

The rally's chief guest, actor Shubankar Ekbote, addressed the energetic crowd, focusing on the core theme of compassion. He emphasised integrating kindness into daily life, stating that true strength emanates from peace, not aggression. Ekbote encouraged the young participants, the future of society, to become ambassadors of harmony and to champion these values within their communities.

The impactful programme was skilfully anchored by Rahul Kshirsagar and organised under the dedicated guidance of SVIS principal Aarti Patil. This large-scale mobilization successfully highlighted the enduring legacy of Sadhu TL Vaswani, transforming his birth anniversary into a dynamic platform for promoting non-violence, conscious living, and universal peace through the simple yet powerful pledge of a meatless day.
